Yo guys.

I've been thinking about LbaMM a fair bit and... I've decided to end LbaMM sooner than I previously planned.

I did write the comic to go on endlessly and the thought of having to say goodbye to this cast is kind've nerve wracking. Like, really nerve wracking.

On another note, it's still a fair distance away. If I had to give a loose estimate, based on my original plans for LbaMM, we were about 1/5 to 1/4 of the way through, with the new plan we're about half way to 3/4 of the way to the end.

To give another very loose timeframe, that means the comic is going to end 2-3 years from now.

Can you believe it? I've drawn this comic for almost three years now. That's nut.

The thought of stopping a habit I've been keeping up for three years is incredibly nerve wracking 'cause around that same time, another comic of mine is going to end.

Shit. What am I going to do if I don't have any comics to draw? I'm nervous... haha.

I hope you guys look forward to the end as much as I am!

Phew, that's it for now. On another note, I've almost beat P4: Golden! AND THEN IMMEDIATELY AFTERWARDS I'M GOING TO REPLAY IT AGAIN BECAUSE WHY NOT.

Yeah... maybe I should play video games instead of drawing... ugh.

Three year anniversary coming up! What do you guys say to doing that thing where I answered questions for the characters again? That was pretty fun, right? Haha.

That's kinda sad, but you know, every great story has an end!
And I'm sure you'll be able to create a new comic as good as this one <3

The thought of you ending the comic is very heartbreaking to me. I'm sure you'll make it an awesome ending and I'm really glad that it sounds like you aren't at all abandoning it. Still TT_TT
*sigh* 2-3 years...at least I'll have plenty time to try and prepare my poor heart *sadface!!*

any chance you'll explain why you're shortening the comic by so much? It's obvious you're still very invested in your characters.

A couple years more... [Posted by Temporal (Guest) on December 12th, 2012, 8:37 am]

While I wasn't here for much of the comic, I'll certainly try to follow the rest of this comic. I bet it will continue to garner fans long after its end, however...
Heh.

Big news- [Posted by Belerith on December 12th, 2012, 12:14 pm]

But all good things must come to an end.

I'm kind of excited for you because this is a big step. One that'll take you a few years. ; )

On another note, who likes the Brian side of their grandkids..?

And because I cannot post a comment without at least referencing Persona 4: Golden - I left an answer on the previous page. : D

Aw, we have to savor each moment now I guess haha. I hope you show us the original plan after the comic ended! Also, what other comic of yours is going to end as well?

@Ana: Thanks for the vote of confidence! I'm worried that I won't but I have three years or so to figure it out, haha.

@ProfessorLawl: Haha, it's gonna be 2-3 years from now! No point in being sad now. Or, at least, by that point in time you'll be glad it's over. Haha.

Uh. As for why I'm shortening the story, it's pretty simple. I just don't want LbaMM to overstay its welcome. Leave them wanting more. I hope I can end the comic soon enough before people lose interest.

If I drew the comic more frequently, like 10 pages a week or a chapter or week or something like that, it'd be ok, but online it's pretty slow so I don't think people's interest will hang around for that long. Haha.

@Temporal: Aw, thanks. That's a nice though. Haha.

@Belerith: Yeah! Glad you're excited. I'm actually pretty excited too. Haha. I was doing a really quick outline with my friend and I think I've got the rest of the comic figured out. Haha.

@anonanon: The original plan was just more... uh. Filler? Not really filler. Just more of them figuring out ways to survive or silly scenes of them playing boardgames but the new one is just plot point after plot point. I'm not much of a gag writer so I think it's for the best.

The other comic? Hm. I don't want to say. Haha. It'd ruin it, haha.

I really like her dada. He reminds me of a certain someone I know... XD

;-; Ending. Sad. But that's a few years, so okay. I can see why you would make your decision, and how it would be something to be nervous about. Three years! I really admire your persistence. I'm hoping I can just get past the first three chapters of my comic... that would be a miracle, with my track record!

When we do get to the end, will you tell us the originally planned ending? ;-;

@redleaveshavefallen: Eh? No, no, no. I didn't change the ending, I just made the comic shorter. Haha.

The ending has been what it is since the beginning of the comic.

I like the comic and would be sad to see it end, but I think you've made the right decision. Stretching out the plot too much just makes it feel too slow, right?

I've had a bit of a heart attack reading the first lines of your comment, but 2-3 years more is nice. It feels weird because I never thought of it ending. Of course I know it has to one day, but that's still a litte heartbeaking. I got attached to your characters very fast :) You've improved a lot since the beginning and it's exciting to think about how your art will be in 2-3 years...

@cstar: Yup, exactly. Thanks for understanding!

@Tallinn: Yeah, see? THat's a good amount of time. I think if I updated at the rate of shonen comics, 15 pages a week, it could've gone on for longer. Haha. But at this rate, people are gonna get sick of it so...

Aw, thank you for all that. I'm glad you like the characters. I'm curious as to where my art is headed also!
