Double lies! That's what we call in the business, "A well written twist."

No, don't do that. That is the worst. I'm looking at you, The World Ends With You.

Thank you Carmen and Elan for the comics! You two are wonderful people!

And I'll get that picture at you momentarily, Carmen.

At the time of this writing, I'm almost done with my script! Woo. Just need another half hour. I do have to answer this essay question though.

"Please write a paragraph from your autobiography. Make sure to include something that explains why you have a fresh perspective in your storytelling."

Dude. I don't know. I don't?

You are just leading me through twists and turns here, I hardly know what to think.
Ian is a born playwright.
This comic was quite lovely... though I also look forward to seeing more updates from you!

I hate it when writing stuff has those requirements, I hate writing about myself directly. Like, I don't mind making a character that explores some part of my life, but they'd always make me write journals and stuff in school and it was. The worst. I get to writing about my life and it's like I have nothing to say.
Sorry for the mini rant, but I just. I feel your pain.

@mk_insane: Haha, thank you. I'm really excited to get back to drawing the comic!

Dude, yeah! I agree! Something about forcing me into self-reflection I don't like. I think for me it's such a personal matter and something I have to reflect on my own time.

Haha, I've never had to write journals before.

Haha. It's fine about the mini-rant. Let's share out pain together!

These bullshit questions are bull-honky.

Hooray~ Karen makes an appearance! She looks so adorable here, and I like how the guest comic fits in with the storyline--"At least it's better than gardening," haha!

As for the autobiography question? Dang.
It sounds like a re-phrase of "What do you hope people will say about you, ten years from now?"
Never was a huge fan of essay prompts myself, but at least your question is a good opportunity to re-affirm and re-evaluate your goals and priorities for storytelling, and where you hope find yourself in the future.
Methinks the question itself is poorly worded, but I think all it truly wants is to see where you, as an artist, hope to achieve through telling stories (e.g. the themes of your webcomics, writing natural-sounding characters, depicting character backgrounds not commonly found in media, etc.).
Oh, and to also test if you're able to change your writing style and write as if someone was writing your autobiography, obituary, or what-have-you. *Shrugs*
That's my two cents on it.

Good luck on that essay!

Found this comic last night, and I got hooked, so I went through the whole comic. It was worth not sleeping. xD

I would totally have paid to see that play.

Also, good luck with your essay-thing~

@Odd1Out: Huh. That's what I wrote. Hope it's ok! Mostly it just sounded like I was blowing smoke out of my ass, haha.

@hustburg012: Aw, thank you. I'm glad to hear you enjoyed it, and thanks! The essay writing went well enough, haha. There was a lot of eye rolling.
