You are so dumb, Daniel, that I can't stop crying.

oh god my poor heart

I actually really feel for Ian, cuz i know what he's going through. I used to hate all my dad's girlfriends after my parent's divorce cuz i thought they would take my dad's love away from me and my sister and brother and he wouldn't want to visit us anymore.....

Ffff why are you such a good writer.
Gah, Ian's reaction to all of this is so realistic. I couldn't imagine writing such a young character successfully.

I love your comic. Really it's absolutely fabulous. I can't wait for the next page. But seriously, work on your project first!

@NightingaleLost: Haha, I understand. What you're saying is Timothy is a trophy husband.

But no, you're right! The feeling is based off the feeling of futility you get as a kid sometimes. You don't have a say in the matter and it just sucks. Haha.

But yeah. I know the feeling when your parents get divorced and you're still a kid at the time. No one tells you anything thinking you're too young, and without being told anything you make wild conjecture instead and freak out over the rest. Haha.

@mk_insane: Ah, someone complimented my writing. Made my day!

Oh man. You think so? That's great to hear. Reading over old Led by a Mad Man, I always thought I made Ian too unrealistic, like, too cutesy, too selfless, too verbose. Haha, he manages to articulate himself pretty well for being six.

So I've been working on tweaking him a bit more since then, just a little more selfish, a little more following-his-own-rationale.

I can't remember what author it was I looked up to about writing like a kid but I know I was always envious of the movie "Where the Wild Things Are". I think he did such a great job with the kid mentality.

OH YEAH. I think Salinger was really good at it too. I think he was the one I really liked.

Sometimes, sitting at a restaurant and they have soap operas on. Have you watched those? Those kids, man. They're just there for decoration.

"You, say something really contrived and cute."

Haha. Anyways, one day I'll be as good as them.

OH WAIT. NOW I REMEMBER. Taiyo Matsumoto, the man who drew Black and White which inspired Tekkonkinkreet and whose work Sunny I reallyyyy love.

Oh my god, I rambled. Ah, I love talking about writing.

@ProfessorLawl: Oh god, I wrote that a while ago. Haha, project's been postponed! WOOOO.

But yeah, I should be working on it anyways. Hahaha.

Oh, and thank you!
